When my good friend Erin Wilson texted me about attending her workshop at The Ravington last fall, I jumped at the chance to spend the day with her. Erin and I have known each other for a few years, and she’s always been such a pillar of encouragement for me and my business. Of course I would come and support her at her first Northwest Arkansas workshop.
I arrived at The Ravington and was blown away by Jessica Kersey’s design for the editorial portion of the day. She greeted me with a hug while she worked tirelessly straightening candles and perfecting her design. Vase and Vine provided the most beautiful flowers, and Paper Supply Co. blew us all away with their champagne wall and velvet invitations! Everything was shot on the outdoor patio area, which is one of the most gorgeous spots of this venue.
Inside, Erin greeted us with the sweetest gift bags. She provided delicious food while we listened to her chat about business and life. So many good questions were asked, and such good conversation was had. Her husband, Josh, was there to film the workshop, and it was fun seeing them work together (they’re now a full-fledged photo and film team!).
As the sun set over The Ravington, we ventured outside to shoot all the amazing details we had seen being set up earlier in the day. Our models were stunning, and so much fun. The light was perfect that afternoon. It was a blast getting to know new photographers and spend time with friends. Thank you so much for having me, Erin!
