Kristin and Ben’s wedding was the kind of day that truly replenishes your spirit as a human. When I arrived that breezy June morning, Ben and his daughter, Morgan, were waiting patiently for his bride to arrive. They stood by the doors as Kristin’s sweet dog, Marley, wove in and out of the hustle and bustle of that wedding morning. Family and friends helped coordinate details, while Cindy from ZuZu’s decorated the space with beautiful spring florals. When Kristin arrived, she had the sweetest first look with Ben, giving him a note and sharing a private moment outside before photos.
During the ceremony, Kristin, Morgan, and Marley stood at the back of the venue. Kristin sang a hymn while Ben looked on from the front, and the tears in his eyes as he watched his love sing said everything. Morgan walked Marley down the aisle, while Kristin’s brothers escorted her. After they were wed, Morgan met them at the back of the venue and collapsed into tears of happiness. It was one of the most sentimental and intimate ceremonies I’ve ever had the joy of capturing.
Kristin and Ben enjoyed their brunch reception with family and friends. Biscuits and jams, a yogurt bar, and a giant donut wall filled guests’ bellies while they mingled. The owners of the farm brought out their young lambs for photos and we all about died from the cuteness.
As the morning turned to afternoon, Kristin and Ben ran through a shower of Cheerios. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day. Congratulations, you two!
