I’ve known Cat since I moved to Arkansas way back in 2009. She welcomed me to her kickball team when I was trying to make friends in a new place. She let me sleep on her couch years ago when I was young and drank too much to drive home. She was there when my husband and I fell in love with each other and when we had the most epic fight of our relationship. She is one of the kindest, funkiest, coolest people I know, and I’m so thankful for her.
Cat moved to New York and texted me a few years later that she was getting married and what would it take to get me there. I. Was. ECSTATIC. Nathan and Cat met in Arkansas but moved to NYC for Cat’s job and decided they wanted a small intimate wedding in their new hometown.
Eloping at City Hall was the perfect urban fairytale. Mike came as my assistant, and we followed Cat and Nathan throughout their day – from getting ready in their apartment to the coolest little reception at a French bistro in Brooklyn. Any day I can follow a couple around and just document their moments is the best day. I adore these two so much, and their families and friends, and I’m so thankful for our time together. Congratulations, Cat and Nathan. Love you both so much!
