May 15, 2019
I remember meeting Elizabeth and Ross for the first time in person just a few weeks before their wedding. We were at Mama Carmen’s discussing their timeline, and they totally won me over when they both agreed that the most important thing to them were the people they were celebrating with. That, and the fact that Ross totally has family in Ohio and grew up with Cedar Point just like me. We were tight from that moment on. I just adore these two, and am so thankful for Jo Johnson sending them my way, who actually got to enjoy the wedding as a guest!
Elizabeth put on her dress at her parents’ house in Fayetteville, with their two sweet old dogs looking on. Their first look was at the University of Arkansas, and we loved watching them together. Elizabeth and Ross are so natural. They can laugh and joke with one another, while still being so sweet. Throughout the day we’d catch her arm on his, or their hands in each others’, or them nestled together. It was truly so wonderful to watch.
And they were so. Much. FUN! Their reception at the Apollo on Emma was one for the books. Between dancing and their portraits at sunset, we had a blast together. It was such a gorgeous night, and everyone took full advantage of it on the beautiful new patio outside the Apollo. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and a better wedding to start 2019 with. Congratulations, Elizabeth and Ross!
