Travis first saw Mollie at a college football game. She kept looking back at him, stealing glances in the crowd. So Travis took his chance and went to sit next to her. Little did he know, that she was actually looking back above him, at her father, who was also in the crowd. Such an awkwardly sweet meet cute, right? Well Travis’s bravery paid off, and these two were married in July of 2019 just north of Kansas City.
When I arrived for their Kansas City engagement, Mollie had a dirty iced chai waiting for me. She had texted my best friend and second shooter, Mel, to ask what my favorite coffee was. That just shows you how big Mollie’s heart is. She is always caring for others. It was such a sweet gesture, and just the beginning of our journey together.
We hopped in their car and drove to the Nelson-Atkins Museum. I had been there the year before with Rebecca and her bridal party, and it was the perfect place to start their session. Mollie wore a gorgeous navy gown, while Travis was looking sharp in his suit. These two look so good together! They are playful and sweet and can nail a serious look. Total models in the making.
After the museum, we headed over to Loose Park, which was filled with people enjoying the gorgeous weather. The trees were blooming and the grass was so green and soft. The light was perfect that night, and we had so much fun exploring.
After their session, we returned back to Mollie’s apartment. I hugged them both goodbye, and thanked them for such a wonderful time. Engagement sessions are always a fun way to get to know each other, and to have a fun moment away with your future spouse. I’m so thankful these two found me, and can’t wait to show you Mollie’s bridal session and their wedding soon!
