I knew as soon as Lauren walked into the coffee shop and gave me a giant hug that we were meant to work together. She is so kind and and full of life. We had originally planned on her and Tyler’s engagement session taking place near the University, but then Lauren texted and asked, “Have you heard of Dromborg Castle?”
Um, yes. Yes I have.
If you haven’t, it’s a stunning fortress built on top of a majestic hill in south Fayetteville. I’ve driven past it several times, always wondering about its story. And with Lauren’s connections at her job, we were able to venture to the house to meet the lovely man who lives there with his wife, in the home they built themselves. Who invited us in and showed us around, and gave us permission to capture the love of Lauren and Tyler during their engagement season.
These two are so stylish. They totally fit in their surroundings. And they fit so well with each other!
Tyler nailed the “cool guy” look.
But he couldn’t hold it for long. Which was so much fun.
The owners let us go to the top of the fortress for a few photos. Love this one with the wind in their hair and arms wrapped around each other.
