Kara and Blane’s fall engagement photos in Fayetteville.
When we first met in person, they had already booked me for their wedding. We drank coffee, chatted about work and life, connected enough to know we definitely all liked each other.
Then I needed a babysitter last minute. And Kara volunteered. While I’m always nervous about brides seeing my messy life and crazy kids, she was warm and gracious and so good with them. She even came back to watch them again. That’s huge.
Kara trusted me to shop for her dress for her session. I love styling my couples to bring out their personalities and locations they’ve chosen and was so excited when she asked me to.
And then we had coffee one day, and found out we are so much more deeply connected than I ever thought. I even cried in front of her. And y’all, even after being so real and vulnerable in front of her, she still wants me there on her wedding day.
Kara and Blane, you two mean so much more to me than you know. I can’t wait for your wedding day. I am so glad to know you, but even more, so glad you found each other.
Here’s what Kara had to say about her experience:
“We’ve been engaged for almost a year(in three days), but WE FINALLY HAVE ENGAGEMENT PICTURES, and they turned out amazing!! Y’all I cannot speak highly enough of Steph Smith Weddings. She has invested herself in building a friendship with me, has opened up her home and her family to me (after only knowing me for a few months she trusted me enough to babysit her kids-ha! who are great btw), and never lets me buy my coffee.
She is also the most genuine, down to earth person who doesn’t settle for surface level relationships and is amazing at what she does! I mean it was so hard to pick just 10 you guys! In case you missed it, Steph Smith Weddings is amazing and I’m soo excited for her to capture our wedding day.”
