I met Casey and Jarrett at Tanyard Creek in Bella Vista for their engagement session. Jarrett flew in from Atlanta for a long weekend of wedding planning, and it worked out so well for their session. Despite being long distance, these two fit so well together. They make each other laugh, and Jarrett wraps Casey with so much love as he holds her. The light that night, and their love, was SO GOOD. I loved exploring the falls during this late summer eve with them.
Casey sent their proposal story, and it’s too good not to share!
“Jarrett surprised me on my family vacation in Charleston, South Carolina to propose! He wasn’t supposed to come because he had to work. He had my family pretend we were going to a nice dinner (we usually do one day on vacation) and take some family pictures before in a park near the restaurant (also normal because I’m a hobbyist photographer). As I was lining up to take some pictures, I feel someone tap me on the shoulder – it was Jarrett!
My family quickly left and we just walked through the park filled with Spanish moss, big oak trees, and blooming flowers. Then, he got down on one knee! He had a photographer and videographer capture it all! Then, to top it all off, he drove us to this beautiful restaurant downtown where all my family, his family, and even my best friends (who had to fly to get there!) were to surprise me with a little party! It was the most perfect day and I cannot wait to marry him and finally end our long distance!!”
