When Allison showed up for her bridal session at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable this past spring, I knew we picked the perfect spot for her portraits.
St. Catherine’s is the most magical spot, built as a retreat and used now for weddings, elopements, and more. Hidden in a small valley, the stone chapel and grounds are surrounded by beauty, and it was the perfect setting for Allison’s bridals.
Her Essence of Australia gown from Norman’s Bridal was made for her. Her florals by Shirley’s were a perfect fit. She had a few extra blooms brought for her hair, so I helped place them, adding the final touch to her look. We’d also re-create the look on her wedding day. I absolutely love being more than just a photographer to my bride. I wear extra bobby pins in my hair in case you need them, I’ll help you decide on that final piece of jewelry, Mel (my partner in crime and regular second shooter) will help you get your veil in right if needed. Whatever you need, we’re happy to help.
Allison is elegant and kind and full of love for her new husband Scott. It’s been so great to know her over this journey. Yesterday I delivered her heirloom boxes. One filled with photos from this session, and the other filled with photos from their wedding. Congratulations to them both and much love.
